This recipe does not require a huge list of ingredients, and every ingredient works together to help the amazing burst of flavour that is in this meal! All ingredients are on budget, easy to use, and delicious!

Two tablespoons of olive oil
Four chicken breasts without skin, sliced into pieces
Two coarsely chopped onions and four smashed garlic cloves
Sweet paprika (1 tablespoon)
400 millilitres of chicken stock
Four teaspoons of Dijon mustard
Worcestershire sauce, two tablespoons
200g of crème fraiche or soured cream
a generous portion of minced parsley, spaghetti, or rice mash, to serve

The instructions to making this amazing stroganoff are so easy, there is just a few step by step instructions to follow and in no time, you will have this amazing family meal! Like I mentioned earlier, this recipe takes only 45 minutes to make, and this recipe creates 4 servings, so if you would like more, just add onto the quantities of the ingredient list!

Step 1
In a frying pan, heat half the oil and cook the chicken pieces over medium-high heat, stirring often. till the colour becomes golden. After seasoning, move to a platter.

Step 2
Reduce the heat to medium and heat the remaining oil. Add the garlic and paprika after the onion has been cooked but not browned, about 6 to 8 minutes. Add the Dijon and Worcestershire sauces after a minute of aromatic cooking, followed by the stock.

Step 3
Add the seared chicken and any leftover liquids, and simmer for 5 to 6 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the juices have somewhat reduced.

Step 4
Add the soured cream and whisk until barely incorporated to form a creamy sauce over low heat. The sauce has just begun to boil. It is completely up to you what you serve on the side of your stroganoff. You can serve this amazing meal over pasta, rice, or mash, if desired, and sprinkle with the parsley.
