Ingredient list;
225g–250g/8–9oz beef mince, 15% fat
1 level tsp salt
ground black pepper
1 brioche burger bun (cut side toasted)

Ingredients for the burger sauce;
One tablespoon of tomato sauce
Two tablespoons of mayonnaise
One finely chopped gherkin and one tiny red onion
Two tablespoons of fresh dill

Ingredients to serve;
Two pieces of cooked smoked streaky bacon
One piece of mature cheddar
Little Gem lettuce
One beef tomato slice

Fake away homemade burger- method!

The method is super easy to make and also fun! Perfect for a date night in with your other half, a fun night in with your friends or if you are looking for an easy Saturday night dinner recipe to go with a glass of wine! So, what are we waiting for! Let’s get cooking!

Step 1
Transfer the mince to a large bowl and use a fork to break it up. When the mixture is soft and the salt is thoroughly mixed in, add it and rub it in with your hands. For twenty-five minutes, cover and let stand at room temperature.

For the sauce, mix all the ingredients together in a small bowl and mix using a fork until it is a light shade of pink and the gherkins are small little chunks. Set this bowl to the side until it is time to use.

Step 3
Pat the mince mixture into two thin patties, each about 12 cm (4½ inches) in diameter, after dividing it into two equal halves. If you want them to be particularly tidy, use a tiny dish or saucer as a reference.

A nonstick skillet should be heated to high heat. When the burgers are browned and cooked through, add them and cook for one minute on each side.
